On Friday, June 9, Netflix is going to debut its new action series ‘Bloodhounds’ worldwide, an adaptation of the original digital comic of WEBTOON.
The webcomic ‘Bloodhounds’, created by Jeong Chan, is an 85-episode action drama that ran exclusively on WEBTOON from 2019 to 2020. It tells the story of three young people entangled in debt who become "hounds" to collect the money they owe and face the forces of evil. The suspenseful story and spectacular action have been well-received by fans. The webcomic is available in English, Japanese, and Thai through WEBTOON’s global platform.
The Netflix Series <Bloodhounds> premieres today at 4 PM worldwide. The eight-episode series is directed by Kim Joo-hwan (Youth Police, The Divine Fury) and stars Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-gi, Heo Jun-ho, and Park Sung-woong.
The series was produced by Studio N, which is leading WEBTOON's video production by expanding its area from WEBTOON series adaptations such as <Sweet Home> and <Yumi's Cells> to original content creation like <Our Beloved Summer> and <Unlocked>, in collaboration with SSIAT Film, which produced Netflix movie ‘Love and Leashes’ based on a webcomic series by WEBTOON and SEVEN O SIX, which co-produced the film ‘The Divine Fury’.
WEBTOON’s digital comic "Bloodhounds" is available on WEBTOON app as well as on the website on mobile and PC.
