Michael Pak Joins WEBTOON Entertainment as Senior Vice President of Strategic Finance

WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. (Nasdaq: WBTN) (“WEBTOON Entertainment,” “WEBTOON,” or “the Company”), a leading global entertainment company and home to some of the world’s largest storytelling platforms, today announced the appointment of Michael Pak as Senior Vice President of Strategic Finance.

Pak will lead the Company’s newly formed strategic finance group, overseeing investor relations, financial planning & analysis, and corporate finance functions. He will report to David Lee, CFO of WEBTOON Entertainment.

Pak brings 25 years of financial experience across high-profile public and private technology companies and professional services firms, including leadership roles in accounting, finance, and tax at Google, Everpure, Netskope, and Deloitte. Most recently, Pak served as Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President, Finance at Medable, where he led a global team responsible for accounting, tax, treasury, and broader finance operations.

He holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Accounting and an M.S. in Taxation from the University of Virginia.
