LINE Manga, eBookJapan and bookfan Consolidate Under LINE Digital Frontier Corporation
TOKYO - LINE Digital Frontier Co., Ltd., operator of WEBTOON Entertainment’s Japanese webcomic service LINE MANGA, has consolidated with eBOOK Initiative Japan Co., Ltd., adding eBookJapan, one of the largest e-book sales services in Japan, and bookfan, an online paper book sales service, to its operating services.

The integration of these services under LINE Digital Frontier Co. is expected to improve efficiency across the organization, accelerating each business by combining the knowledge and experience of ebookjapan and bookfan, which will continue to exist as separate platforms.
Uniting LINE Manga, eBOOKJapan and bookfan will also strengthen the relationships with domestic publishers, helping to expand the webcomic ecosystem in Japan and creating a path for creators looking to share their work globally.
